The Lantern Project's Fight Against Human Trafficking and
Online Exploitation

In a world increasingly dominated by technology, the safety of our children online has become a pressing concern. Recognizing this need, Simon and Aletha Arkley founded The Lantern Project in 2020.
- With a mission to protect kids and empower parents, this nonprofit organization has become a beacon of hope in the fight against human trafficking and online exploitation.
Projects include:
Empowering Parents initiative, a Parent Guide, an app, a safe house, and more
You can support the Lantern Project at The Lantern Gala on Dec 1st at the City Club at Gibson Mill in Concord. Now in its third year, the semi-formal event promises an evening filled with celebration, reflection on the wins of 2023, and a glimpse into the ambitious vision for 2024 in the fight against trafficking in the region.

Jackie Boy's announced on social media the decision to not renew their lease for the Concord location. Reflecting on the challenging week when restaurants closed due to COVID, their experience of opening during that time has been incredible, and they extend sincere gratitude to all for the support.
