New Tools Are Coming to Build a
Better Girl Scouting Experience!

We are excited to announce that in early December, Girl Scouts will release a refreshed member account management system. The fresh new environment will provide increased visibility to your Girl Scout member account, make it simpler to manage and maintain household memberships (and for troop leaders, troop memberships too!), and find more fun for your girl!

The refresh will require a system-wide downtime for members and staff starting November 18 at 11:59 p.m. EST for 2-3 weeks. While much of the downtime period has been intentionally planned to occur the week of Thanksgiving, a time when troops and volunteers often take a break to be with family and friends, we know that Girl Scouts and volunteers are always on the go and want to make sure you know the steps to take before November 18th to support your Girl Scout plans and activities.

Starting November 18 at 11:59 p.m. EST, Girl Scouts will begin system-wide updates that will temporarily restrict access to the following for 2-3 weeks:
  • myGS
  • Volunteer Toolkit (VTK)
  • gsLearn (volunteer online training platform)
  • Looker (service unit admin team reporting resource)
TO PREPARE: Please be sure to download and save troop rosters, meeting plans, or any other resources you might need during this time.

In early December, members will receive an email from Girl Scouts announcing the debut of the refreshed member account management system as well as updated login information and instructions for accessing their Girl Scout account (myAccount).

We will share communication updates highlighting and introducing new features and functionality members will enjoy in the new more intuitive and user-friendly environment.

Please accept a great big thank you for all you do and for your patience and support while we work to enhance your Girl Scout member experience. As always, we are here to support you. If you have any questions, please contact for assistance.

Over the next few weeks, we'll be sharing more details about this enhancement. We encourage you to watch your email and the council's website and Facebook page for updates and links to resources. Thank you again.
