State Announces Rounds 3 - 6

DATES FOR NEW APPLICATIONS

Round 5: March 25th through 31st, 2021

Round 6: Date to be announced soon

Round 3: March 5th - March 11th, 2021

Eligible applicants: eligible applicants who were waitlisted in Rounds 1 and 2 If you were waitlisted, you do not need to reapply.

Details: This is a closed funding round; no new applications will be accepted.

Round 4: March 16th - March 23rd, 2021

Eligible applicants: Only non-profit cultural institutions with any revenue size that meet eligibility criteria found at CAReliefGrant.com

Details: Eligible non-profit cultural institutions must complete a new application even if they already applied in Rounds 1 and 2; grants will only be available to non-profits cultural institutions that did not receive funding in Rounds 1, 2 or 3; grants will be prioritized based on the documented percentage revenue declines based on a reporting period comparing Q2 and Q3 of 2020 versus Q2 and Q3 of 2021.

Round 5: March 25th - March 31st

Eligible applicants: current waitlisted small businesses and non-profits not selected in Rounds 1, 2, or 3 and new applicants that meet eligibility criteria found at CAReliefGrant.com

Details: Applicants not selected to receive a grant in Rounds 1, 2, & 3 do not need to reapply as they will be automatically moved into Round 5. New applicants will need to apply at CAReliefGrant.com

Round 6: Date to be announced soon

Eligible applicants: current waitlisted small businesses and/or non-profits not selected in Rounds 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 and new applicants that meet eligibility criteria found at CAReliefGrant.com

Rental Assistance Program for Landlords and Tenants opens Monday, March 15th

Programa de Asistencia para Proprietarios y Arrendatarios comienza lunes, 15 de Marzo

The CA Covid-19 Rent Relief effort is designed to help low-income Californians through the payment of back rent to landlords. Landlords and Tenants can apply for assistance with unpaid rent.

Landlords who participate in the CA COVID-19 Rent Relief program can get reimbursed for 80% of an eligible tenant’s unpaid rent between April 1, 2020, and March 31, 2021, if they agree to waive the remaining 20% of unpaid rent during that specific time period.

Eligible tenants whose landlords choose not to participate in the program may apply on their own and receive 25% of unpaid rent between April 1, 2020, and March 31, 2021. Paying this 25 percent by June 30, 2021 can help keep you in your home under the extended eviction protections in SB 91.

Tenants may also apply for assistance with prospective rent and utility assistance.

El Programa Ayuda Con La Renta de COVID-19 de California está diseñado para ayudar a los californianos de bajos ingresos a pagar renta atrasada a los propietarios. Propietarios y inquilinos pueden aplicar por asistencia para la renta.

Los propietarios que participan en el Programa Ayuda Con La Renta de COVID-19 de California pueden obtener un reembolso del 80% de renta atrasada entre el 1 de abril de 2020 y el 31 de marzo de 2021 de un inquilino elegible, si perdonan al 20 % restante de renta atrasada durante ese período de tiempo específico.
