Home Repair Program Overview:

This program helps homeowners who have been financially impacted by COVID-19.
This program provides up to $60,000 in funding to make eligible home repairs.
Eligible repairs are intended to maintain the habitability of a home and prevent displacement.
Repair projects are anticipated to begin between Summer of 2024 and early 2025. This program is not for urgent repairs.

What to Expect on Feb. 12, 2024:

The application portal opens at noon sharp.
Grants are limited, so we will operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
Only eligible homeowners will have their applications reviewed.

Please note: There will be only a limited amount of applications accepted for this Home Repair Grant. The application portal will open at noon on Feb. 12, 2024 and close when Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago has determined it has enough eligible applications. All applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.

If your application is being reviewed, that does NOT mean you have received the grant. Follow-up information will be collected to further determine eligibility.
