Reshoring and the Pandemic: Bringing Manufacturing Back to America
Reshoring manufacturing back to the United States has been top of mind for many manufacturers, especially in light of the supply chain issues brought on by the pandemic. Proximity to customers and markets, eco-system synergies and the impact on the domestic economy are all reasons why manufacturers want to move production back to the U.S
Women In Manufacturing Hall of Fame
The Women in Manufacturing Hall of Fame seeks to recognize women who have made, or are making, renowned contributions to the manufacturing industry regarding efforts to support, promote and inspire women in manufacturing. Nominees should currently have (or had, if retired) an established, long-standing career in industry and documented efforts in supporting, promoting, and inspiring women in manufacturing. Since it’s inception in 2020, 24 trailblazing women in manufacturing have been inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Prototyping Grant Program
With the support of the United States’ Economic Development Agency (EDA), and grants provided by the “Manufacturing Emergency Response Team” 2.0 group (MERT 2.0), $150K of non-dilutive funding will be provided to innovators in Massachusetts who seek to accelerate the development, prototyping and production of physical products while contributing to the MA economy. 
FPDG (Female - & Non-Binary-Led) Application
The FORGE Product Development Grant (FPDG) is non-dilutive funding awarded to a cleantech startup(s) to support the development of a physical product. This Female- and Non-Binary- Led offering is dedicated specifically to boosting the trajectory of these often underserved leaders that traditionally launch with less capital investment.

The goal of the grant is to remove barriers to scale and manufacturing, providing the necessary funds for a specific product development challenge critical to the company’s ability to scale and/or reach the marketplace.
