A Purr-sonal Message From Our PIN Team

As we welcome the snow and cold, let's seize the moments to curl up by the fire, take in the beauty and breathe in all that is possible in the year ahead. At PIN, we are excited about new resources, initiatives and improvements coming to our clinic in 2025. To name a few, we have a new careers page on our website, where we’re looking for passionate individuals to join our team. We are also planning several renovations, including a fresh new look for our lobby—keep an eye out for a special way to celebrate our beloved pets with beautiful artwork. Additionally, we're constructing a wellness and recovery room, providing a calm and supportive space for pets in need of extra care. We are committed to enhancing our clinic with these and more updates to improve your experience and the services we provide. We can’t wait to share more on these exciting developments throughout the year!

Funding Paw-sibilities

We are incredibly grateful to PetSmart Charities, Petco Love, and Kenneth A. Scott Charitable Trust for their generous grants for 2025. These vital funds will enable us to continue providing the best care possible to pets in need, covering a range of needs from medical treatments and heartworm prevention to staffing, pet supplies and important capital investments. With these contributions, we are better equipped to serve our community and ensure that every pet receives the care and support they deserve. We thank these organizations for helping us fulfill our mission!

Clover's Second Chance

When Clover, a tiny kitten with an injured leg was abandoned at PIN, her future was uncertain. With the help of her incredible foster, Mona, she was given the love and care she needed to stabilize and grow. Despite her challenges, Clover quickly adapted, zipping around on three legs and thriving in her foster home. Now, Clover is ready for her next chapter—a forever home where she’ll be loved. Could that home be yours?

You’re Paw-some: A Big Thanks to Our Dedicated Volunteers!

We’re incredibly grateful for our amazing volunteers, some of whom have been with us from the very beginning! Whether it’s assisting with clinic operations, helping at events, or providing compassionate care to animals, our volunteers are the heart and soul of our organization. Their dedication and hard work are deeply appreciated, and we want to take a moment to say a huge thank you for all they do!

As one long-time RVT volunteer shared:

"As an RVT, volunteering at Pets In Need lets me stay connected to the veterinary world while using my skills to give back. I truly feel appreciated here, and the work I do is so rewarding." – Sue (pictured here on the right).

Furry Friends, Helping Hands

Found House has been an incredible partner, offering shelter and housing to families (and their pets) experiencing homelessness right here in Cincinnati. Their dedication to helping families get back on their feet and find stability has touched so many lives in our community. By teaming up with organizations like ours, Found House makes sure families stay together, have a safe place to stay and provide the support they need to move forward. We’re so thankful to have such a compassionate and committed partner in them!

On the Road to Orlando

We’re thrilled to share that our team will be heading to Orlando to attend the renowned VMX Conference from January 25-29! This conference, the largest in the veterinary industry, is a great opportunity for our staff to expand their knowledge, extend their skills, and stay at the forefront of the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.

By attending hands-on workshops and in-depth classes, our team is committed to bringing back new insights and best practices to continue offering the highest level of care to the pets and families we serve. We can’t wait to apply what we learn and keep raising the bar in everything we do!

Fur-ever Grateful for Our Donors

Thank you to Amy Goodman for stopping in this week. We extend our gratitude to you as Service Chair and the Joint Women's Collaborative (JWC) of Wyoming for the support you have provided year over year to PIN. Your efforts to provide volunteer service and fundraising to strengthen your neighborhood (s) and improve the lives of the people living there is surely true in our case. Pets are an invaluable benefit and not everyone has the financial means to keep their pet (s) healthy when an unfortunate illness or condition arises. Your support, which purchased parts for life saving equipment, came just in time.
