This covers your W2 employees, it can cover 1099 contractors and individuals as well! Open Enrollment is coming up and they are working on the website/landing page right now so you will have a place to go browse.


Clearwater Benefits is used by other HBA's in the country and I did my research and have heard nothing but good things. Our HBA also gets a small kickback as an Affiliate partner for each subscriber who signs up (the main insurance holder, not all of the family members).

THINGS YOU MAY WANT TO KNOW

  1. The minimum # of W2 employees is 5 BUT if you have less than 5, they can still provided cover to your employees as individuals (and employers can choose to reimburse what they want towards healthcare)
  2. Even if the majority of your employees choose NOT to sign up for this health insurance, they can still work with your participating employees.
  3. If your employee already has insurance through a spouse or somewhere else and is not interested in switching, they can still add the supplemental (dental and vision, etc) or Holistic (or any of them) as additional plans.
  4. The HOLISTIC plan includes a lot of wellness services like chiropractor and acupuncture services, and more.

MAJOR MEDICAL

These are traditional insurance plans, so there are no age or pre-existing condition limitations. These plans are designed to fit any budget and give members more control of their out of pocket costs.

Copay - Good for high plan utilization

Affordable monthly premium with varying deductibles to choose from. Copays for common services like doctor visits, specialists, diagnostics, and prescriptions. Includes $0 out of pocket care when Care Coordination is utilized.

HSA* - HSA plans require the use of care coordination

Low monthly premium with higher deductible. Eligible for tax-deductible Health Savings Account - HSA to help for qualified medical expenses.

Minimum Value Plan * - requires the use of care coordination

Lower monthly premium with higher deductible offering co-pays for a limited number of common services like doctor visits and diagnostics.

CLEARSHARE

Clearshare is a healthcare-sharing community that protects members from high medical costs that could result from major surgeries or an unexpected illness. It is NOT insurance, so limitations on age and pre-membership conditions will apply

Advanced - Good for High plan utilization

Reasonable monthly costs with carrying annual max's to choose from. Visit fees for common services like doctor visits, specialists, diagnostics, and prescriptions. Includes $0 out of pocket care when Care Coordination is utilized.

Basic - Good for those looking to cover the basics

Preventative care with the flexibility to see doctors for a member fee and get the occasional prescription without worrying about surprise costs.

HSA - Good for pre-tax healthcare savings

IPairs your healthshare plan with an HSA - eligible Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) plan. Save money and income taxes and minimize healthcare spending with a Health Savings Account.

HOLISTIC

A unique blend of traditional coverage and alternative care, supporting wellness with options like acupuncture, chiropractic care, and holistic doctors.

Holistic Premium & Clearshare Holistic Essentials & Clearshare

Good for comprehensive wellness care Good for wellness focused coverage

Care Coordination


Care Coordination is an available service that connects members with lower-cost, higher quality providers for imaging and major procedures. On most plans, using care coordination for eligible services means your out-of-pocket costs may even be waived.
