We’re excited to welcome Brett Johnson to Steamboat Tennis and Pickleball Complex as our new Head Tennis Professional!

A former Division I player at the University of Kentucky, Brett competed as a nationally ranked junior and 4-star recruit before becoming part of an SEC Championship team.

After his playing career, he served as a volunteer assistant coach for the University of Kentucky men’s tennis program and has continued coaching junior and adult players.

As Head Tennis Professional, Brett will play an important role in growing and developing our junior tennis program, while also offering more opportunities for our adult players to get on court.

You can catch Brett every Sunday morning from 9–10:30 AM as he leads our adult intermediate tennis clinic. Whether you’re looking to sharpen your game, get a great workout, or meet other players, come out and join him on court!



We’re thrilled to have Brett as part of the STPC team. Be sure to say hello and give him a warm Steamboat welcome!

USTA Flex League

Your Matches. Your Schedule. Your Shot at the Title.

Players will be divided into four levels:

• Platinum (4.5+)
• Gold
• Silver
• Bronze
  

An overall champion will be crowned in each division. Throughout the season, you’ll coordinate directly with your opponents to schedule your matches, and by the end of the league, you’ll have played everyone in your level.

Registration is just $26.50 (court fees not included). Sign up through the USTA Flex app and search “Steamboat Tennis” to join. Pick your division, set your matches, and let the competition begin!

Rally For The Valley

Play For A Purpose

Join us for the first Rally for the Valley, a new quarterly open-play event that brings our pickleball community together while supporting a local nonprofit or educational organization.

Our first Rally for the Valley will benefit Steamboat Montessori Public Charter School, a tuition-free public charter school serving families in the Yampa Valley. $10 from every player will go directly to the school!

All levels are welcome, so come out for an afternoon of pickleball, community, and a great cause.

Cost: $25 Residents | $40 Non-Residents

When: Sunday, September 13, 1:00–3:00 PM

Benefitting: Steamboat Montessori Public Charter School
