New Health Manager Track

New this year: the Health Institute has added a track just for new health managers and staff! Attend one, two, three, or all four sessions as part of your Health Institute registration (no additional fees to attend!)

Join the National Center on Health, Behavioral Health, and Safety (NCHBHS) for the new Health Manager track. This unique track includes four coordinated sessions, designed to provide new Head Start Health Managers with key resources, information, and strategies for managing health services and supporting child health and safety, one of the Office of Head Start’s five national priorities. Equity and wellness will be applied throughout the sessions. Participants will also have opportunities to create a personal action plan to support their continued learning and professional development. These sessions also welcome experienced Head Start health managers and staff who are interested in expanding their learning and sharing with others in the field.

Sessions in this track:

Session 1: Welcome to Head Start Health Services

Session 2: Supporting Children and Families to be Healthy and Ready to Learn

Session 3: Safe and Healthy Learning Environments

Session 4: Putting it All Together for Quality Health Services
