Theme Days 

January 23: Beach Day

Coming straight off of winter break, there's no better time of year for a beach day! Come to school ready for a toasty summer day at the beach, except in school! We expect to see some pool floaties, hawaiian shirts, goggles, hats, sunglasses, and anything you would bring to the beach!

• February 20: NH Swag Day
• March 13: Jersey/Sports
• April 17: Dress up as your dream job
• May 22: Neon Day
• June 19: Anything but a backpack

PAC Update

 SAVE THE DATE for the 2026 Big Hearted Gala at 5:30pm on April 25, 2026 at Carriage House Hotel. Book that childcare and score that perfect Gala outfit on Boxing Day!

Mark Your Calendars!!! We're also hosting our first Moms Night gathering of the year on Friday, January 30th! More details to come in the new year. We're hoping to do a family event in April with another Parents Night Out in May!

Our next PAC Meeting is on Tuesday, January 20th at 7pm. We've been on point with under 50 minute meetings so come join us

And if you'd like to join the Gala Planning Committee please email pac@newheightscalgary.com to be included in the party planning. 

Assemblies

At New Heights, each classroom takes a turn hosting an assembly at some point throughout the year. We run two assemblies each assembly date: one for elementary/middle school and one for junior high and high school.

We are excited to share that parents/guardians are invited to attend the assembly that their student’s classroom is hosting. Please see the list below to save the date for your student’s classroom. Your classroom teaching team will provide more information as your assembly date approaches.

January 22 - Copper

February 19 - Skoki and Pyramid

April 23 - Fable and Tower

June 18 - Kidd and Cascade

Puzzle donation

One of our junior high classrooms is looking for 1000 piece puzzles for their students.

If you or someone you know has any you'd like to donate, please send them into the office.
