Our Front Office administration team is Alison Black and Dulaine Lough. These are the two that you will be hearing from when you call the school, when you send a message to info@newheightscalgary.com, or when you ring the doorbell.

Alison Black, also our Admissions Coordinator, is in the Front Office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

Dulaine Lough is in the Front Office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

When your student will be late or absent due to sickness, appointments, or other, please contact the main office by leaving a message at info@newheightscalgary.com or 403-240-1312 to let the school know.

Welcome to New Heights: Parent Information Session

This session is for our families who are joining us for the first time this school year, with a student in Grades K-12.

To help welcome you to the New Heights school community, we are holding an in-person session for parents who are new to our school program. This session will take place on Wednesday, September 18th at 5:30pm and will provide information on who we are and what we do.

Topics that will be covered include:

• September and onwards at New Heights: what are the students doing and learning in the classroom
• New Heights terminology
• Parent Teacher interviews: what to expect, what questions to ask, and information to communicate to the school team

Parent Teacher Interviews / IPP meetings

Our first round of Parent Teacher Interviews/IPP meetings are coming up on the evenings of Wednesday, September 18th and Thursday, September 19th.

25 minute meetings can be booked on each half hour between 3:30pm and 8:30pm. These meetings can be held virtually or in-person. Please specify your preference when signing up.

Note for High School parents/guardians: These meetings will be scheduled your homeroom teaching team.

You will have opportunity at the PAC Welcome Back BBQ to meet the other subject-area teaching teams.

Casual Coffee & Donuts - Sept 13

We will be set up in the green space near the main school doors during morning drop off starting at 8:00am until approximately 9:00am. After dropping of your student, stop by for free coffee/donuts and chat with some PAC members and fellow New Heights parents!

Welcome Back BBQ

Save the date for lunchtime on Friday Sept. 27th. Join PAC and the New Heights staff as we host a BBQ to kick off the new school year. A BBQ lunch will be provided. More information to come!

Healthy Hunger

Watch your emails for more information coming regarding Healthy Hunger, including how to sign up. The first one will be Wednesday, Sept 18th, and then every 2 weeks after that.

Drop off and Pick up

A reminder that we use the North parking lot at the back of our building, as well as have the parking stalls facing our building in the West parking lot, just across Breskens Drive.

Our allocated parking stalls in the West parking lot are labelled with New Heights signs and also used for Access Calgary drop off. These fill up quickly. The rest of the stalls in the West parking lot belong to Clear Water Academy. The North parking lot is easier access at drop off and pick up times, and we encourage you to keep using this parking lot.
