Dear Prince Families,

I am excited to announce that we have hired Mr. Aaron Gibbs as our new high school principal for the 2025-2026 school year. 



Mr. Gibbs brings over 12 years of professional experience in education including positions as administrator, dean of academics, director of spiritual life, classroom teacher, tutor, and coach. His background includes both public and private Christian education as well as experience working with young people in various diverse settings including the inner city, international populations, and church ministries.

Mr. Gibbs earned a Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgia College and State University. He is married to Allison, and they have three young children: Collins (5), Shepherd (7), and Jake (8). Athens has been their home for 12 years.

Mr. Gibbs will join the Prince Administrative Leadership Team in July as Mr. Daniel Kempf transitions to his new role as Assistant Head of School.

Dear Prince Families,

My family and I are excited to become part of the Prince community as I join the administration at Prince Avenue Christian School. 

Having served as a classroom teacher, coach, and administrator for high school students throughout my professional career, I appreciate what a crucial period of development high school is before students launch out into the world. And I relish the opportunity to serve students at Prince during this season of life - to shape students’ sense of identity as sons and daughters of Christ, develop their skills and passions, and equip them for the future. 

Since stepping on campus at Prince, I have been impressed with the standard of excellence that is evident throughout - in academics, in co-curricular programs, and especially in the quality of faculty and staff. I am excited to come alongside and support the team of professionals that is on mission at Prince.

I look forward to meeting teachers, students, and families in the days and weeks to come and continuing the legacy of excellence that exists at Prince.
