For 2020, we expanded The Fabric Garden's sponsorship of Maine Quilts by providing a brand-new Janome Sewing Machine to the first 25 youths who enter a quilt into the show. (26 youths were actually awarded machines) Sadly, this year's Maine Quilts was cancelled, so the official awards ceremony had to be altered a bit.

It was my absolute pleasure to finally award these youths with their free Janome Machines over the past two weekends. I absolutely adored meeting with these youths and hearing about the wonderful quilts they created. And they loved leaving with their brand new machines! Here's to the next generation of quilters, sewists and creators.
