Scholarships Make a Difference

In October, BRIDGE awarded $480,000 in competitive scholarships to 53 residents who are pursuing their educational and career goals—the largest annual award total in BRIDGE history—and celebrated scholars at a reception and fundraiser. In addition, BRIDGE published a new report highlighting the range of social and financial impacts that its Colwell business scholarships have on affordable housing residents. Ulises, a resident scholar who aims to be the first in his family to earn a university degree, described in one word what the award means to him: “Hope.” Thank you to our generous donors and sponsors who make these scholarships possible!
