Come join us at Mission Kids!

New for 1st-5th graders this fall is Mission Kids! 1st-5th graders will discover that God's love is for everyone, and He invites us to help share who He is and how much He loves others both in our communities and around the world.

There will also be a Bible Drill tract offered on Wednesday nights for Preteens (4th-5th grade). Kids who choose the Bible Drill tract will focus on scripture memorization for competition at the local, area and state levels. These kids will also join Mission Kids on certain nights.

Check-in is at 6:15 pm; promptly pick-up at 7:30 pm.

Serving Opportunities for Families

Oct. 8 / 9:00 am / FLC & Off Campus

The church is leaving the building! Join us as we share Christ's love with our community by serving in several practical ways. We will meet in the FLC for a short rally, then follow signs to your chosen serving opportunity. Once all teams are gathered, they will receive instructions before heading out to serve.

There will be serving opportunities for all ages (childcare provided for 3 yrs. and under). This is a great family opportunity where parents can model serving for their kids as they serve together.

WHY IT IS GOOD TO PRAY

ABOUT LITTLE THINGS

I am so grateful for the rain. God always provides what

we need. God cares about everything that touches our

lives. It is easy to let God’s faithfulness slip from our

minds at times. Especially when He is not answering our

prayers the way we want Him to.

I love the listen to children pray. Their prayers are very simple and honest. A child may pray “God,

please help daddy come home fast and play with me.” Or “Help me to have good dreams tonight.”

When I pray, I tend to focus on things that I think are more substantial. I pray for someone who is

battling cancer. I pray for friends who are struggling with unemployment. I don’t often pray about

little things. God is our father and longs for us to share our needs, both big and small with Him so

He can give us good gifts (Matthew 7:7-12). I need to remember that no prayer is too small or

insignificant.

Does God Care about the Little

Things that Happen in Our

Lives?
