Church Campus Clean Up

Building & Grounds has planned a clean up day for this Saturday, May 1 from 9 - 12 pm. The main focus will be pulling weeds: in the preschool parking lot, preschool playground, around the front of the church, at the portico, courtyard, the office parking lot and near Memorial Chapel. If you have rakes, gloves, wheelbarrows that would be great!

We will meet at the Portico entrance. Feel free to forward or invite anyone else!

More hands, less work!
God Can Break the Chains of Addiction

The Raleigh Dream Center recovery ministry will help meet the need of members of the community who are living in bondage and will benefit from a focus on truth, transparency, and integrity. They offer an invitation to freedom through surrender and the promise of safe and loving refuge to those needing hope and transformation. No one is out of reach to find freedom. All are welcome!

Addiction recovery meetings and Bible studies are open for anyone struggling with addiction to alcohol or drugs.

Location: 4301 Louisburg Road in Raleigh (enter Raleigh Dream Center through the parking lot off of Calvary Dr. behind New Hope Baptist Church).

If you were unable to attend the Parent Meeting on Sunday. Brain Defense is a prevention curriculum, designed for children ages 8-12, to help equip kids to keep themselves safe online and to refuse digital dangers. You will find a breakdown of each lesson below. Parents will be provided with discussion questions and role plays for each lesson to continue crucial conversations at home. One of the main goals of Brain Defense is to encourage parents and children to have talks that build trust, knowledge and skills that keep kids safe online. Important Mission Trip Update

The date for our summer mission to Eastern NC has changed, again. I received a call from our mission site and a scheduling error was missed when we requested our week. Therefore, we have chosen to move our week up to Sunday, June 20 - Friday, June 25. I know that year-round student's last day of school is Monday, the 21st. If you are in year round, we will provide transportation for you to join the mission after school on Monday. The cost of the mission is only $50. Chaperones are needed for this mission. Parents, come join your teens on this mission! To register, click the link below.
