Be Heard -- Take this Brief Survey

As I shared a little in last week's article, part of my sabbatical plans include planning for next year's sermon topics/series. I do this each summer, taking a week retreat to really pray over and seek out what God would have me share with our congregation in the upcoming year.

This year, I could use your help! Below is a link to a brief, anonymous survey (we're talking probably 60 seconds or less!). The purpose of this survey is to hear from you about topics or challenges you would like addressed through either Sunday messages or through a discipleship class. By taking this survey, you help me and our staff know how to come alongside to disciple and help families learn from God's Word in areas that are specific to their needs.

Upcoming Sermon Series

We're kicking off summer with a new series, Ezekiel: A Promised Restoration. This fascinating prophetic book in the Bible is the only prophecy told in the first person, beginning to end.

God inspired Ezekiel to tell his story for our encouragement. Out of the ashes of rebellion and judgment, God gave this prophet visions and promises of a better future -- hope in the midst of all the trouble in their current lives. In fact, the name Ezekiel means "strengthened by God."

When you don't think you have it within to see the promises of God, as with Ezekiel, God can provide you a vision moving forward. I hope we each become inspired by and determined to live out God's vision for our life, regardless of current challenges we face.
