Called. Equipped. Sent.

Our year started with this truth: we are made for community, and we are Better Together at reaching our neighbors, friends and the world with the hope of Jesus -- we don't have to do it alone.

From that spark, New Hopers have been reaching neighbors with the B.L.E.S.S. tool, and some have experienced deep encounters through the Missional Living training. We are equipping the next generations to live on mission through our new Mission Kids (1st-5th), Mission Friends (3 yrs-Kinder) and First Wednesdays (6th-12th) programs.

Just as God has been equipping us, God has been sending us. He's brought opportunities to our doorstep through our partnership with Ridgetop Church and Partners in Hope. And he's sent us out the door to elementary schools and even the Amazon. 

Most recently, God has used New Hope to sponsor the drilling of a new water well in the Amazon. Earlier this summer, a missionary team from New Hope partnered with Amazon Outreach, serving and sharing the gospel with 1,300 people in 5 villages. While there, we were able to donate a water well, and share the truth of Living Water with the community.

Terra Prometida (Promiseland) is a small indigenous village in the Amazon, and its location is so remote, that it is inaccessible by Amazon Outreach's large boat. By a smaller boat and dedicated volunteers carrying equipment up steep hills, this village received a new source of clean, drinkable water. The well was dedicated by the team, making this the second water well New Hope has been able to donate this year.

God is taking our willing hearts and making an impact in our world. Where He has sent us, we are building relationships, meeting needs and making His name known. We can't wait to see where He sends us next!
