New Hope This Week: Church Picnic (NEW LOCATION) + Serve Saturday

Ready. Set. Play!

We truly LOVE our church picnic! Such a fun afternoon outdoors, a much slower place visiting with friends, making new ones, playing games and chowing down on yummy food!

This year we are CHANGING LOCATIONS and we're very excited about it! We invite your family to join us at Lakewood Park in Leander on May 7, 2:00-7:00 pm. This new location opens up new activities for families, including:

-Swing and rope climbing area

-Splash pad

-Fishing pier

-Bike trails

-Skate park

-Basketball and volleyball courts

-Kayak and paddle board launch (rentals available)

Attendance is free; meal tickets are $10 for every person getting a barbecue meal plate. If your family wants to pack their own dinner, go for it! Bottles of water will be available for free at the pavilions.

One more thing... If you have a New Hope shirt of any kind, be sure and wear it!

Young at Heart Banquet

Apr. 21, 6:00 pm, Life Church, Leander

Senior Adults, get ready for a fun night out with friends! Join us for the Young at Heart Banquet, and enjoy great food, fellowship and a hymn sing. Tickets are $15 per person, and can be purchased online, in the church office during the week, or in the Sr. Adult Hall on Sundays.

Serve Saturday

Apr. 29, 9:00 am, FLC

Join us as we share Christ's love with our community by serving in several practical ways. From assembling teacher bags, to repairing a fence, to prayer walking, we're going to bless our community in multiple ways, in multiple locations.

This is a great family serving opportunity! Show your kids how to serve others as Jesus did. Childcare provided for 3 yrs. and under.

WASHED is our baptism celebration! We celebrate because baptism is a beautiful picture of new life received through Jesus! Celebrate with us and cheer on new believers at our next WASHED service.
