Update from Church Plant Partner, Ridgetop

Earlier in 2022, we introduced you to Ridgetop Church, a church plant we are currently partnering with to reach a specific neighborhood, commuters and students in Austin, TX. The core team of this church has been diligently working for over a year, and already they are seeing God move in big ways!

Starting with prayer and emails to potential supporters just a year ago, Ridgetop began with a small core team, and property of a previously closed church building. Volunteers from New Hope helped with several renovation projects to get their campus ready to open to the public.

Ridgetop now has a remodeled worship space, weekly worship services, small group Bible studies, neighborhood partnerships, a student ministry at the University of Texas, and 20 founding members. From the start of new ministries, to their first baptism, there is so much to celebrate!

You can personally help Ridgetop by praying for the following:

Pray for Community Outreach: That God would capture the attention and interest of neighbors living around the church. This part of Austin is known for being hostile toward Christianity. Pray that God would open doors for conversations and relationships to begin.

Pray for Campus Ministry: That students from Ridgetop will continue to reach other students at UT Austin. Prayers for open hearts and minds as the love and truth of Jesus is shared.
