We're Doing Things Differently

Operation Christmas Child (OCC) makes a huge difference in the lives of children and their families around the world! Not only does it reach them with joy from the gifts and a copy of the gospel in their native language, but it leads to an invitation to The Greatest Journey discipleship program. This program has seen more than 14.9 million children making decisions for Christ since 2009.

New Hope has annually participated in Operation Christmas Child, but this year we're changing how we will be collecting. Instead of each family filling their own shoeboxes, we are collecting items church-wide over the next several months. We believe this method will help us build even more shoeboxes that will gift kids and families with Good News of Great Joy. In October, we will have a church-wide packing party to assemble our shoebox gifts together.

We encourage you and your family to review our collection list and begin looking for items you can donate when you're out shopping. Donations can be dropped in the toy box located in the lower Atrium.

This month we are collecting hats, gloves, socks (all ages) and underwear (all ages).
