Meet Our Student Pastor Candidate

It's been quite a journey for our Pastor Search Team in seeking out who God is calling to be our next Student Pastor. Our Search Team (Catherine Ford, Kendra Testone, Tom Robbins, Jeff Fuller, Leonard Prater and Keith Pate) has worked and prayed diligently through their search and interview process. This team sorted through resumes and questionnaires from each candidate, conducted Zoom interviews, in-person interviews, ran standard background checks, and personally followed up with references.

From those labors, our Search Team is excited to introduce Hunter Hanson, who will be coming in view of a call as our new Student Pastor! From his extensive interview process, Hunter has impressed the Search Team with his leadership, spiritual maturity and heart for families.

Hunter, his wife Rachael, and their soon-to-be-born baby, are coming to us from the St. Paul, Minnesota area. Hunter is a current student at Bethel University and will graduate in May with his bachelor's degree in Biblical and Theological Studies. Hunter has experience working as a student intern, summer camp counselor and is currently a pastoral resident at a church in St. Paul.

Hunter and Rachael will be coming in view of a call on DNow weekend, Feb. 24-26. We're excited that Hunter will be able to visit with our students and share his testimony with them during their weekend experience!

We invite the entire church to a "come and go" reception to meet Hunter and Rachael on Feb. 25, 4:00-5:30 pm in EDU 203/204.
