Messy Ministry
Preparing for ministry isn't always easy. Sometimes it's messy. And as some volunteers from New Hope discovered, it can also be dusty, noisy and sweaty. This past weekend, members of the Testone Hope Group pulled up their sleeves to help our church plant partner, Ridgetop Church, demo their building space to get it ready for their first church service in August.
Pastor Robert Krumery from Ridgetop shared that the church was "blown away by how hard everyone worked and how much got done!" Over 20 volunteers from five different churches (Hillcrest, Manchaca, FBC Pflugerville, New Hope FBC and Ridgetop) joined in the effort, with volunteers ranging from 3 to 80 yrs. "By estimation, that labor could have cost us as much as $5,000. This is a huge blessing to us as we try to steward our resources for planting."
