Ending 2022 Strong

Can you believe there are only 8 weeks left in 2022? What a year it has been so far! As we came out of the pandemic and into an inflationary economy, this year has been challenging for sure. Despite this, God continues to use the people of New Hope to make a difference in the lives of community members, which we saw on Serve Saturday, and in places around the world, which we continue to see in Cuba and the Amazon.

Between the hundreds that join us for Worship and Hope Groups on campus each Sunday, along with hundreds more online, New Hope is impacting over 1,000 lives each week. To date this year, 81 individuals have joined our New Hope community as members. These are things to celebrate! We're thankful God is at work during this challenging time in our world, and so thankful He is using us in that work.

Ministry Budget Update

There is one challenge before us as we complete 2022 and carry on with our vision and mission together into 2023. As of this week, there is a budget gap of $68,500 between our needs and our giving. This amounts to being about a week and a half behind where we need to be. In 2019, we faced a similar budget gap, and together we responded to the need, making up the gap by the end of the year. I'm grateful to our staff team, who has done a great job carrying on with ministry, while also reducing spending to help close this gap.

A Simple Challenge

I have this simple challenge: I ask each of you who consider New Hope your church home, to give generously and sacrificially to close the budget gap, and help end the year strong. The sacrifices we make to support the ministries of New Hope are worth it because reaching people for Christ is worth it. God will use our sacrificial giving to make an eternal difference. Please pray and consider how Christ is leading you to respond.
