Partners in Hope
On Saturday, Oct. 8, during our first Serve Saturday event, New Hope volunteers will have the opportunity to assist our new community partner, Partners in Hope. Together, we will serve at an isolated neighbor's home. This tangible expression of the love of Christ helps to develop long-term relationships with neighbors experiencing social isolation.
Partners in Hope connects these neighbors with a network of people in the community who can provide the physical, emotional and spiritual help they need. New Hope is part of that network, and has not only been assisting in the physical needs, but has already made personal connections with community members.
Last month, New Hope hosted Partners in Hope's very first Fellowship Meal in the Cedar Park/Leander area. The meal was for the community members who Partners in Hope serves, and Hope Group members from New Hope helped serve the meal to guests. Our Serve Saturday project will be assisting one of the families who attended the Fellowship Meal.
Connections of relationships are beginning to form, and God is moving! Be a part of what God is doing in our community by signing-up for Serve Saturday!
