Ridgetop Going Strong
Small but mighty. That's the picture of Ridgetop Church making a difference in our world for God's glory.
Over a year ago, New Hope started partnering with Ridgetop Church, a new church plant strategically located in central Austin near many students, single working individuals and families.
In that year, Ridgetop has renovated their new church building, held their first church service in August of 2022, started growing leadership and church members, and has been putting their congregants to Kingdom work. Not only has Ridgetop been reaching out to their community (providing treats for public school teachers, painting picnic tables for a local school, leading a neighborhood clean-up), but they have sent their first missionary team out this past summer.
Some of the college students at Ridgetop went on a mission trip to Central Asia, led by the UT Baptist Student Ministry. Their team was able to have gospel conversations with people who have never heard the good news of Jesus, spend time encouraging long-term missionaries, and learn from Christian workers who are devoting their lives to spreading the gospel in that unengaged area.
We're excited to have Ridgetop Pastor, Robert Krumrey, be our guest speaker this Sunday while Keith is on sabbatical. Please continue to pray for the efforts of Ridgetop Church, both in their local community and around the world, that God would bring about life transformation through them all.
