Welcome Back Yun Family!

We are excited to have the Yuns, a missionary family serving in areas throughout Asia, return to our Mission House for some rest and renewal! We got to know the Yuns in 2021 when they stayed at our Mission House, awaiting a new assignment. Since then, the Yuns have been busy serving and working for the Kingdom. Here are a few recent updates:

1) The Yuns have been a part of providing a 12-week online training course for participants in different regions of China to learn about "biblical parenting." They discovered that many Chinese parents regret not receiving a healthy upbringing from their parents during the rapidly changing industrial development of their country. In the course of lectures and small groups, participants are growing beautifully together, sometimes with reflection and regret, sometimes with gratitude and praise, but always comforting each other.

2) When the Yuns meet international students at the airport, they deliver evangelism gifts to these new friends. They have discovered that when they greet those friends who have gone abroad for the first time with the good news and gifts, they listen to the message of the gospel with an open heart.

3) The Yuns were able to serve as guest pastor and praise leader in a church for three weeks. This allowed a co-worker to go overseas on missions and hometown visits. After participating in missions, this co-worker became very passionate and feels called to become an overseas missionary. They can't wait to see how God uses him!

New Hope is blessed to be able to host this family, as well as past missionary families, while they are on furlough, sabbatical or awaiting new assignments at our Mission House. Please pray for the Yun family to receive rest and renewed strength and joy during their stay. Pray for growth of all the spiritual seeds they have sown, and for the future work God has for them. Also, pray that our Mission House will continue to be a place of respite and renewal for current and future missionary families.
