Join the newly renamed Downtown Creative Market (previously New Iberia ArtWalk) on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 4 - 7 p.m., for the special Cycle Zydeco focused market. Art, crafts, music, photography, music, food and shopping are just a teaser of the offerings.
Cycle Zydeco, Louisiana's Cajun & Creole Cycling Festival is coming to New Iberia with special guest Bernard Hinault, the French cyclist and five-time Tour de France champion, will participate as the first ever Capitaine de Cycle Zydeco. With over 600 cyclists from across the USA, Canada and France, please join us in welcoming our visitors to New Iberia.
The Downtown Creative Market opens from 4 - 7 p.m. and will include artists, craftspeople, musicians, photographers and more. All restaurants and retail shops will be open. There will be traditional Cajun French music at Taunt NaNa's and Blue Merlot will be playing at Jolie Fleur Florist. KANE radio station will hold a CD signing party with Cajun and Zydeco artists, then starting at 6:30 p.m. Chubby Carrier will be entertaining in the Steamboat Pavilion until 9:30 p.m.
