Student Photography Exhibition
We are pleased to announce the Kane County Student Photography Exhibition is set for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. this Friday, Dec. 13.

The event will be held at the  Batavia Fine Arts Center , 1201 Main St. in Batavia, IL. We will have snacks, hot chocolate, sweets and music throughout the night as we showcase the best photos throughout the Kane County Student Photo Contest.
Student Photography Contest | Week 9 & 10 Results
We have concluded the Student Photography Contest for 2019. We want to thank all of the teachers and students throughout Kane County for all of their help making this contest a success year in and year out! We look forward to seeing everyone in 2020 for another year of talented student photography!



Raising Student Achievement Conference Recap
We just wrapped up the 2019 Raising Student Achievement Conference hosted by IARSS. We had over 850 participants from all over Illinois – 55 counties and 282 individual schools.

This conference was showcased by two renowned Keynote speakers, Dave Burgess who spoke on Monday and Greg Wolcott on Tuesday. Our Keynote speakers were followed by 151 breakout sessions throughout two days.

We want to thank Katie Algrim, our Director of Innovation Professional Learning , for putting in a gargantuan amount of work this year on rebranding the look and structure of the Raising Student Achievement Conference.
The Progress Report: Motivating Middle School Readers

College Career Fair - Save The Date
West Aurora School District #129 is excited to announce they will once again be hosting their 2nd Annual College and Career Fair on Friday, January 17, 2020 from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM at West Aurora High School.  Last year, this event attracted many students from the area—Kane, Kendall, and DuPage counties. Currently have many business partners and colleges represented to share information with students. 

Additionally, we will have a resource lounge for participants to gather and receive valuable information.
