Marantz Model 1 & Marantz Model 4 s

In this short video, AWE Europe, Distributor Of Marantz And Europe, Offers Insight Into The Marantz Model M1 and Model M4.

The Marantz Model M1 provides 100 watts per channel into a single zone. If offers high quality 5-way binding posts for speaker connections. It has a pair of RCA line-in jacks, a subwoofer output jack, IR in for a flasher, eARC HDMI connection, USB-A input, Toslink Optical input, and a network Ethernet connection. The eARC support allows you to connect your client's TV and decode even Dolby Digital+. The Ethernet port and it's wireless network connectivity allow connections to stored files on the LAN as well as access to many streaming services. Its conpact size allows easy placement into your client's furniture or tw can be put side by side in a rack. 

The Marantz Model M4 has 8 channels / 4 zones of 100 watts x 2. It has 4 USB inputs, 4 analog inputs [pairs of RCA], and 2 Toslink Optical inputs. It comes with rack ears and feet so it can rack mount or shelf mount. It is a slim 2RU high and they can be stacked. In a HEOS system, you can offer up to 64 zones. The Model M4 can be bridged allowsing 4 x 200 watts! The Axign Class D amplifier is unique and allows a post filter feedback design which removes all of the negative influences of the output filter, power stage, power supply, or load to be suppressed. The result is a powerful, dynamic, crystal clear sound.

The Latest Updates From Russound

In this short video, Brad from Russound takes us on an essential tour of new products! First up is the new Cinema Bar 3.0. Each of the 3 channels feature a custom 1" tweeter with a proprietary wave guide and phase plug. Each also has a long excursion 4" woofer and a complementary 4" passive radiator for great bass. Each channel is rated at 100 watts power handling. There are multiple mounting methods and a pair of mounting brackets are included. It is only $499!

The D1675 is the latest multi-channel amplifier with 16 channels x 75 watts arranged in 8 zones. Each zone pair can be bridged if more power per zone as required. There are 3 inputs possibilities per zone. Each zone has a filter on the input allowing high-pass, low-pass, and full bandwidth for optimizing the zone or subwoofer. at just $1699 MSRP, it is a great performer.

Hegel 190V Integrated Streaming Amplifier

Tom Martin of The Absolute Sound checks out the new Hegel 190V Integrated Streaming Amplifier! Tom explains that the H190V is $4200, and with all that is included, it is a good value! It has a streamer and is Roon Ready, It works with high resolution streaming services, it works with UPNP and DLNA streaming. i has a high quality internal DAC with proprietary Hegel technology. It offers a phono preamplifier. It offers two single ended RCA input pairs and a pair of XLR balanced analog inputs. It has 1 coaxial digital input, 3 optical digital inputs, and a USB B input. There is also a network Ethernet port. There is also a headphone amplifier. It has 150 watt per channel amplifier. 

Tom reports the sound quality is just impressive. It has a characteristic sound that he likes. It is ideal fo midddle to high effeciency speakers and middle to smaller rooms. The standout sound of the Hegel is its bass definition. The Hegel delivers excellent bass performance that handles the dynamics with ease. He felt the low bass performance was excellent. Drumming was also delivered with great definition. The Soundstage anddepth was superb. He found it not treble shy, yet smooth and dynamic but not harsh or biting.
