Tina & Your Beyond Team
Welcome Lisa Kmiel!
New Administration Manager
About Lisa
After many years of keen and active interest in Yoga and Meditation, my passion for the practice led me to complete a 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Certification in 2006. Since then, I have participated in numerous trainings, workshops, and retreats -expanding my understanding, awareness, and knowledge, which I am grateful to share as an instructor.

I recently retired from a career of over 30 years in the fields of Administration and Event Coordination. Joining the knowledgeable and inspiring team at Beyond is the perfect fit on this next phase of my journey. I feel that I have arrived at a place I was truly meant to be. I look forward to welcoming you to the studio for a rejuvenating experience and to practicing with you!

Yin Yoga Teacher Training
with Diane Lanthier
Who will benefit from Yin Yoga Teacher Training?

Teachers, students and anyone wanting to deepen their practice, refine their teaching skills and learn more about the benefits of this quiet practice.

As we age, the flexibility in our joints can decrease. Yin yoga is a great way to maintain or improve that flexibility. This practice allows you the time to notice and feel the different physical and emotional sensations, while also adding a meditative aspect to your practice.

March 5th & 6th and March 19th & 20th
Time: 11:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Beyond Monthly Yoga Tidbit
Yoga is for everybody but not every asana (yoga posture) is for every-body. Variations and modifications allow for the beautiful play between stability and ease so that our asana practice continues to be a source of both energy and calm and of strength and flexibility.
A few tips to enhance our unique stable/strong and easeful/flexible yoga practice include:
  • Giving space to our breath;
  • Smiling — It enhances the quality of the breath and creates ease;
  • Staying curious and receptive;
  • Keeping a steady and easeful gaze;
  • Accepting that our body needs different things on different days; and
  • Regular practice.

See you on the mat!
