New Income and Sales Price Limits Effective June 2

AHFA has updated the maximum family income and sales price limits used for the First Step Mortgage Revenue Bond Program and Mortgage Credit Certificate Program, effective for reservations today, June 2, 2025.

The new income limits were released by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and are based upon the state's median income. Qualifying households now can earn up to $161,700 annually, depending on the home’s location and family size. Several parts of the state, both rural and urban, have their own income limits. Please visit our website for a complete listing.

The maximum sales price in target areas will be $665,173 and $544,233 in non-target areas.
