I’ll leave out all but the most essential astro-babble. Our knowledge has changed, grown and become more serious since the yacht first went down.
By golly, we have different timing – they found the black box. This event started earlier than anyone had reported. At 3:50am the boat started to shake badly from horrendous wind and this continued unabated. Wind pulled the yacht from anchor and snapped the line shortly before 4am, then dragged it 358 meters. At 4:05am instruments from the yacht were signaling imminent distress, and by 4:06am it had sunk.
The biggest adjustment to our astro-thinking is that the yacht sank at EXACTLY the time the Midheaven and IC were squaring Pluto. This super-charges this aspect and can easily bring it into the realm of “intentional.” There is now espionage, government secrets and encrypted hard drives in a safe as part of the story (yes, indeed!). I’m sure this is suspected of being a clandestine operation. (Though controlling the weather with such pinpoint accuracy appears impossible). The yacht still hasn’t been lifted from its grave and holds many secrets.
One Huge Secret is still not discussed
The Lynches and their friends had just heard that day that Lynch’s co-defendant in their recently won lawsuit had died from an accident he’d been in two days earlier. They were planning to cut their yachting short and return home the next day. Regarding that last night, I received this from one of my readers:
“An acquaintance of my son’s was in that city when this happened. He lives there. He says many of the crew were mostly stoned and drunk and doing as much partying as the residents of the boat. And that the police were going to press charges for negligence.”
She went on to say after I asked permission to use this:
"This gentleman is visiting from Palermo of all places. The conversation was very interesting with the other men who were attending the gathering at my son’s. Several have boats and yachts. He said the other craft in the harbor were all in obeyance of the sea rules during storms except this one yacht. He was really disgusted with the crew. Firsthand news. Always so interesting to be the mouse in the corner when men are talking boats.”
It appears Mike Lynch might have been in control
One major change in the astrological reading is that the yacht (Sun) and Mercury (the Lynchs) now exactly trine the MC (the place showing the captain) so it appears Mr Lynch had probably taken over control of any safety considerations and other “captains” duties. He could have ordered: “Don’t sail the boat while we sleep” and “keep the keel up” (they can be noisy when down). Both orders would disregard maritime safety rules for storms. He also probably ordered that NO ONE disturb them after their night of partying. This can never be confirmed (but looks very bad for the real captain).
According to Maritime rules the passengers were supposed to be roused and led to a safe departure point but if Mr Lynch ordered a Do Not Disturb it would have probably been too late after the wind hit at 3:50AM (the actual storm reportedly had started around 3AM).
Latest News and Information
Jupiter rules Insurance concerns which are already roiling. With the Moon and now the Part of Fortune moved into position so both are trining Jupiter, a big jackpot is to be had. The Part-of-Fortune had been trining before, but now it is a closely approaching aspect, not a receding one.
Later news tells us: Passengers Jonathan Bloomer, who was the Chairman of Morgan Stanley International, and his wife Judy, as well as attorney Chris Morvillo and his wife Neda, suffocated to death following the sinking, autopsy results suggested. Italian media reported that their bodies showed signs of having been trapped inside air bubbles. Tech tycoon Mike Lynch also likely suffocated, his daughter’s cause of death has been more difficult to determine.
Three crew members are under investigation following the sinking — Matthew Griffiths, a sailor who was on watch duty on the vessel when it sank; James Cutfield, the ship's captain; and Tim Parker Eaton, the yacht's engineer. They are all in deep peril from the consequences of these deaths.
An Intrepid Survivor
Angela Bacares, wife of Mike Lynch, survived the disaster. Stephen Edwards, who captained the Bayesian for five years until 2020, suggested she may have survived because her tendency to be concerned about safety on board led her to leave her cabin before the boat began its fatal rollover. Mr Edwards told The Telegraph Ms Bacares “always wants to know what is happening and what the crew are doing."
“She is always the first person to come up to the bridge if she hears us scuttling about up there. That could explain why she was saved and Mike wasn’t,” he said. I think Eris on the 10th cusp describes her accurately.
Mr Edwards, who has spoken to former colleagues on the Bayesian that night, said that the sinking happened in just a few minutes once the yacht began taking on water, with the extreme tilt of the boat and broken furnishing making it extremely difficult for occupants to climb to safety from the lower cabins.
Crew members who were on deck rescued the passengers who were close at hand, but Mr Edwards said that heading down towards the flooded lower parts of the yacht “would have meant certain death.”
The former captain said the nine crewmembers who survived were suffering from PTSD. “They are not doing very well,” he added. “They are dealing with what happened, how it happened and how quickly it happened.” He said that once the weather had worsened, the usual drills were started, with the yacht’s three generators running and connected, its bow thruster made available and the main engines ready to start.
According to Mr Edwards’ account, the chief engineer was on his way to the bow to haul the anchor, which had come loose and was swinging around, when an extreme storm called a downburst drove the yacht onto its starboard side. At an angle of more than 42 degrees, known as the flooding point, water pours into the vents that must be open so the engines and generators can operate.
Now, the Big Reveal, (and Movie material)
Divers searching British tech tycoon Mike Lynch’s sunken superyacht off Sicily have found safes holding potentially sensitive intelligence data, sources have claimed. He was said to carry them with him when he sailed.
Local law enforcement reportedly fear that foreign governments such as China and Russia may become interested in the boat - and have asked for extra surveillance to protect it, CNN reports.
Mike Lynch and Darktrace
Through Lynch’s companies, he was associated with multiple intelligence services - including British and American - particularly through his cyber security company, Darktrace. The Bayesian is believed to have watertight safes with two super-encrypted hard drives containing confidential intelligence information, an official within the recovery team told the US new outlet.
Lynch’s recent co-defendant (Stephen Chamberlain) who had just died when hit by a car in England while jogging, is reportedly one of the founders and COO at Darktrace. (The driver of the car, a 49-year-old woman from Haddenham, remained at the scene and is assisting with enquiries.)
Now Pluto’s place in this drama starts to emerge – Pluto is the ruler of secrets and intelligence and espionage. Its position, balanced between two squares is tenuous, and could go either way. (There are echoes of the presidential election - see my recent newsletter https://conta.cc/3TTPoVn). Pluto, here, is again between Capricorn and Aquarius. Similarly grave worries, suspicions and unknown consequences are circling around our election like they are circling around this boat.
Pluto is in Aquarius (00Aquarius15) as the yacht sank, but he’s heading back into Capricorn retrograde. At the same time the Midheaven which shows “whoever is in charge,” will be changing from Aries to Taurus and taking on a new rulership. This opens up the “top seat” to a new person, someone behind the scenes in the past. Unfortunately, when this top seat is claimed by Venus in Pisces – she is opposing Saturn and squaring Mars/Jupiter and VERY debilitated. We can expect that the main person in charge of the investigation (or even, in charge of this entire clandestine operation) could be quite weakened by being assailed on all fronts. She will work with subterfuge.
Things are close to the process of CHANGING BIG TIME in this chart. It was all precipitated by this highly unusual weather event raining its fury down on this one particular boat. There could be a world-altering upheaval unknown to us as yet unfolding. We can see the balance of power teetering between two signs – Capricorn and Aquarius. Pluto in this position shows governmental, weather related and/or “power issue” events to be in a state of flux. And events can change course in unexpected ways. The MC changing signs as the boat sinks shows the power shift at the top.
The Full Moon the following day has Sun and Moon now almost exactly squaring Uranus on the 3rd cusp of local news. Tracing things back through stories, I think that’s how we first learned of the espionage angle – it leaked out locally. I do not think it was meant to.
