Giving Back to Our Network of Professional Interpreters in Education
SeSo, Inc. strives to empower interpreters and translators working in the medical and education fields. We also believe in the power of continuing education, and the benefit of establishing a network of colleagues aware of the impact we have on communication across cultures. With this in mind, we were happy to be able to offer scholarships to a group of multilingual interpreters in education settings interested in participating in our current Skill-Building Live Webinar Series for Medical and Educational Interpreters .  We look forward to continuing to be a source of support, information and networking opportunities for medical and educational interpreters nationwide.
New Information Sharing Opportunities
for Interpreters
Our Skill-Building Live Webinar Series for Medical and Educational Interpreters provide a wonderful platform for interpreters to connect and share knowledge on a monthly basis, and hear directly from experts including School Psychologists, Speech Pathologists, Educators, Healthcare providers and fellow Interpreters from across the nation. Our goal is to continue to strengthen the knowledge bridge between medical and educational interpreters with the help of our very own!  We are pleased to announce a call for proposals for interpreters in medical and/or educational settings to present remotely during our 2020 Skill-Building Live Webinar Series.

All sessions will be conducted via a webinar platform that does not require any special software or travel and guest speakers will be offered a technology orientation. Each selected presenter will receive an honorarium from SeSo, Inc. upon completion of a 45-60 minute webinar. Please click here for additional information about our 2020 Skill-Building Live Webinar Series for Medical and Educational Interpreters call for proposals.
IEP/IFSP Bootcamp Series
Our last IEP/IFSP Bootcamp was an absolute success and included the participation of bilingual school personnel from AL, GA, TN and NC. New IEP/IFSP Bootcamp dates will be announced soon and will feature some of our trained Professional Interpreters in Education as guest speakers! We are thrilled to give our past course and workshop participants a platform to share their knowledge and experience, as we believe in fostering the professional development of our growing network of Professional Interpreters in Education.
Expanding Our Reach in Colorado
Thank you Colorado for inviting us again to support the professionals dedicated to strengthening cultural and linguistic bridges between English Learner families and school personnel! We look forward to our continued collaboration across state lines to increase the number of trained and qualified Professional Interpreters in Education and provide families and schools with the skilled interpreters they deserve.
Building Our Network of Professional Interpreters in Education
Dalton County Public Schools in GA brought us back for a second year in a row! This wonderful group of dedicated Bilingual Liaisons and Multilingual Teachers completed the hybrid version of our Professional Interpreter in Education course. We had the honor of meeting them in person for a portion of the course and then online for the remainder of the training sessions. They are ready to apply their skills as trained and qualified Professional Interpreters in Education and strengthen their collaboration with schools as interpreters and translators.
Our Professional Interpreter in Education Certificate course participants from China and Korea have completed all course requirements successfully while making history! No time zone differences stopped our dedicated participants from expanding their skills as Professional Interpreters in Education and supporting the international parents and students at their schools. They were thrilled to interact with participants from GA, NC, CO, SC, ID, MN, MA, TX, MO, CA, NY and AL and to help us remember that we are more alike than we are different!
