TESL Ontario is pleased to introduce to you its brand new "International Certificate in Teaching English as an Additional Language (ICTEAL)". This certificate has been designed in response to requests from the TESL Ontario accredited members who are teaching or are considering teaching English abroad.
ICTEAL is awarded to all accredited members of TESL Ontario automatically and free of charge; no application forms or fees are required. Also, ICTEAL is renewed automatically when you renew your OCELT Certificate; no additional renewal forms or fees are needed.
To receive your very first "International Certificate in Teaching English as an Additional Language (ICTEAL)", simply take the same steps you have been taking to order your OCELT:
- Log on to TESL Ontario's website. Click on "Registries" in the menu bar on the left hand side of the screen.
- Click on Accredited Members (OCELT) Registry. Enter your membership number OR your last name, OR your location.
- Click on "Search". Your name and location will appear on the screen. If the Registry does not find you, click on "Reset", and repeat steps 2 and 3.
- Click on "View Profile".
- Click on "Order Your Certificate". Enter your membership number and click on the box next to "I am not a robot." Follow the instructions and click on "Verify".
- Click on "Email my Certificate". Both OCELT and ICTEAL Certificates will be sent to your own email account (attached to separate emails) immediately.
- Go to your email account, open the emails from TESL Ontario, open the attachments, and print, save, or forward your certificates.
