The Digital Shift Is Everywhere
New Jersey’s transition is one visible example of a much broader change.
Construction companies are managing digital plans, estimates, RFIs, schedules and submittals. Architects and engineers are coordinating drawings, models and project documentation. Facilities teams are accessing plans, work orders and equipment records. Municipal departments are reviewing permits, drawings, codes and supporting documents electronically.
The software may be different.
The documents may be different.
The workflow may be different.
But every user still needs to see, compare, mark up, type, navigate and collaborate efficiently.
A large screen alone does not create a complete digital workspace. The workstation must be designed around the person using it—including the software they run, the documents they need visible and the tools they rely on throughout the day.
Going digital is not only a software decision.
It is a workflow decision.
