"courage to act for the common good."

Hello Kristin,

I had the opportunity to visit five of our schools today. In these opening days, it brought joy to see students and staff back in action, transforming our buildings back into schools. As I visited each school, I made special note of the mission statements each school had posted visibly.

While each mission varied, the core of each statement echoed throughout. Our schools are committed to the whole child, to forming the intellect and nurturing faith, so that, as one school captured it, our students develop the “courage to act for the common good.”

As the Mass of the Holy Spirit is celebrated in your communities in the days ahead, I add my prayers for each of you and the staffs, students, and families we serve, that your hearts are kindled with the fire of the Holy Spirit’s love.

With gratitude,

NICHOLAS FORD | Superintendent
