What Happens When Our School Buildings Are Closed Due To Weather?
Due to inclement weather, it may be necessary to close school buildings for the entire day, or release a school early. When school buildings are closed, students and staff in grades 6-12 will engage in distance learning according to their regular schedule of classes.

Unless notified in advance of the closure, students in grades 4K-5 will not receive instruction on these days. Elementary teachers will engage in professional planning and collaboration.

The decision to close a school building is only made after careful consideration of the best information available. The superintendent takes several steps each time consideration is given to closing school buildings.
