Justin Bestor Named New KMHS Principal
The Kettle Moraine School District has named Justin Bestor its new principal of Kettle Moraine High School. Mr. Bestor has been associate principal at KMHS since 2018, also serving as the Director of Learning for the Social Studies Department. 

Mr. Bestor holds a bachelor’s degree in Broad Field Social Studies and Middle/Secondary Education from Marian University (GO SABRES!) and a Masters of Educational Leadership from Cardinal Stritch University. He started his career as an educator in 2010 at Mishicot High School, then was hired by KMHS in 2013.

That's what KM Perform graduate Charlie B. wants her community to know about her time on the KMHS Campus. She plans to study creative writing at Waldorf University!

KMMS Student And Teacher Featured In The Freeman
KMMS student Krin Blegen’s documentary “Sending A Message:
How Postcards Communicated Terror
to a Race of Americans” was shown at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History on June 16 after taking first place in the individual documentary category at the National History Day.

Blegen and her teacher Terry Kaldhusdal were interviewed for a lengthy feature to discuss her 10-minute video on the history of lynching in America, the postcards used to spread the atrocities and the similarities to how hate is being spread through the internet today.
KMHS Campus Names New Coaches For Boys Basketball And Girls Soccer
The KMHS Campus athletics department promoted from within to fill two important coaching vacancies. Kaitlin Kapitan takes over as girls varsity soccer coach and BJ Mertens will be the new boys basketball coach. Both have served on the staffs of their respective teams for the last several years.
