Angie Waller, Grad Center ’20, pursued her master’s while balancing the demands of her design job and being a new mom, after years of wanting to gain advanced programming skills. Her most recent publication, based on her master’s thesis, won a best paper award at an international conference in computational linguistics. She is a technical coordinator building tools for data journalists.
