Join us for the six weeks after Easter as we explore the gospels and the early church. God's love is for the world, and especially for you.

The Gospel of Luke:
Jesus for Everyone
The Gospel of Luke can be summed up in one phrase: It’s all about Jesus, and Jesus is for everyone. Throughout the book of Luke, Jesus is constantly reaching out to people pushed aside by the society of that time. Women, a thief, gentiles, fishermen, and “sinners”—they’re all here, and they’re all seen.
Our focus text for this week:
People were bringing even infants to him that he might touch them; and when the disciples saw it, they sternly ordered them not to do it. But Jesus called for them and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs. Truly I tell you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will never enter it.” -Luke 18:15-17

Community Garden
Want to help with the community garden? Last year, we were able to donate over 500lbs of produce to the Norwalk Area Food Pantry thanks to all the volunteers who helped plant, water, weed, and harvest throughout the summer. This outreach opportunity takes many hands and all ages can help.
We need volunteers for the following:
- Planting (May 14, 9:30-11:30 am & May 21, 1-3 pm)
- During the week helpers (May to September, one week commitments)
- "On call" helpers to help with Tuesday night food pantry harvest when needed

We are once again offering nursery care to young families during the 10:30 worship time, however we can only continue doing so with the help of volunteers We are planning to install a large screen TV in the area to allow worship to be streamed into the nursery, so volunteers will no longer be isolated from worship. Will you be part of this worthwhile ministry? Sign up online at or on the sheet in the south entrance. | |

Memorial Designations
In partnership with the Fels, Anderson & Vetterick families, the council approved exploring bids for new altar furniture for New Life. This includes the altar, lectern, baptismal font and pascal candle. We're excited about new furniture that helps to designate the worship space as sacred, holy and a gift from generous donations at the death of a loved ones. If you have questions, please contact Council President Dan Blom.
