Robert Forseth (D) attorney with Werner, Johnson, & Hendrickson, based in New London, is running against Assistant Waupaca County District Attorney,

On Saturday, Sept. 10th, The New London Area Chamber of Commerce invites you to enjoy the 2016 Cheese & Sausage Fall Family Fest from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.; a full day of family entertainment, food and fun in downtown New London. The day starts at off with a 5K Run / Walk sponsored by the New London Parks and Recreation Department. Come downtown to visit the crafters, produce and market vendors that will line North Water Street. Kids can participate in the kids zone games, crafts, bounce house, and face painting all day for $1. Enjoy Randy Peterson - Children's Performer as he entertains the entire family. Stop at the petting zoo, the Fox Valley Herp Club - Hands on Reptile Educational Show and the magic of Gizmo. The New London Parks and Recreation Department is once again offering you a way to get your work out in before you start sampling all of the yummy cheese and sausages available at the Chamber of Commerce Annual Downtown event!
The Run / Walk starts at the Bernegger River Walk on Saturday, September 10
th
at 8:30 a.m. and proceeds to finish at the River Trail, south west of the Shawano St. Bridge, by the NL flower bed. Registration for the event is available online at
www.newlondonwi.org
, by calling the office at (920) 982-8521 or by stopping by our office, or mailing in a form to 215 N. Shawano St. New London, WI 54961. Registration is $15 per person until August 29, after that it will go up to $20 and t-shirts will be available on a first come first serve basis at that time as well, so register asap! A long-sleeve t-shirt, post-race refreshments and a participant's medal is included in the 5K Run / Walk registration fee.

The Forward New London group is proud to introduce "The Wolf River Market Place". It is an outdoor shopping experience located in Bucky's Restaurant parking lot.
The Market Place will be open weekly on Saturdays, from June 4th through Oct. 29th from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. The market is open to produce vendors, flea market vendors, artists, antiques, non - profits, cottage industries, small businesses etc. The cost is $5.00 per Saturday or $25.00 for six weeks. On Tuesdays, come and explore the Curiosity Corner (a hands - on discovery area sponsored by the Friends of the New London Public Museum) between 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Discover more about our environment and how we can protect it! Free Admission, no registration is needed.
On Monday, Aug. 29th, New London Rotary will meet at Marly's Restaurant at 12 - noon. For additional information regarding Rotary membership or attending a meeting, call Lynn Tank at (920) 250-6051.
On Wednesday, Aug. 31st, the New London Public Library will hold Babygarten from 11 - 11:30 a.m. Babygarten has lively, interactive stories, songs and activities for creepers, crawlers, walkers and talkers that will encourage early language and literacy development.
