G3: Little Birds of Prey from 10 - 11 a.m. When we think of birds of prey, many times our images include bald eagles and great horned owls. While both are fantastic predators and majestic birds, our small raptors are equally as impressive. They are fast fliers and incredible hunters. G3: Into the Woods from 10 - 11 a.m. What better place to be in the middle of summer than in the cool, green forest. We'll take a walk on Mosquito Hill and see what's happening in the woods. Let's Take a Walk: Through the Prairie from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. Prairies originally covered much of the Great Plains of the United States, including a portion of western Wisconsin. The nature center is home to a 12-acre planted prairie which boasts dozens of unique plants species as well as animal species that could be found in the original prairies.
