Red-level reopenings in Los Angeles County officially took effect at 12:01am today.

Moving up to the red tier means that Los Angeles County is permitted to:

  • Resume indoor dining at restaurants and movie theater showings at 25% capacity

  • Welcome back students in person in grades 7 through 12

  • Reopen indoor gyms and dance & yoga studios at 10% capacity

  • Expand capacity restrictions at nonessential stores and libraries

  • Reopen indoor operations at museums, zoos and aquariums at 25% capacity

  • Operate breweries, wineries and distilleries outside without serving food

Beginning April 1st, Los Angeles County is permitted to:

  • Reopen amusement parks at 15% capacity and other modifications

  • Resume outdoor sports — with fans — and outdoor live performances with limitations
