Red-level reopenings in Los Angeles County officially took effect at 12:01am today.
Moving up to the red tier means that Los Angeles County is permitted to:
- Resume indoor dining at restaurants and movie theater showings at 25% capacity
- Welcome back students in person in grades 7 through 12
- Reopen indoor gyms and dance & yoga studios at 10% capacity
- Expand capacity restrictions at nonessential stores and libraries
- Reopen indoor operations at museums, zoos and aquariums at 25% capacity
- Operate breweries, wineries and distilleries outside without serving food
Beginning April 1st, Los Angeles County is permitted to:
- Reopen amusement parks at 15% capacity and other modifications
- Resume outdoor sports — with fans — and outdoor live performances with limitations
