New service announcement
The Maryland Addiction Consultation Service for Maternal Opioid Misuse (MACS for MOMs) supports maternal health providers in addressing the needs of their pregnant and postpartum patients with substance use disorders, particularly opioid use disorder.
MACS for MOMs, an expansion of the Maryland Addiction Consultation Service (MACS), is a statewide program funded by the Maryland Department of Health and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
With support and guidance from MACS' team of expert addiction and maternal health specialists, prescribers have access to:
  • Consultation: clinical questions, resources, and referral information
  • Training: Continuing education credit and ongoing support
  • TeleECHO Clinic: Real-time, online learning sessions with expert specialist teams
