To Our Valued Massachusetts Agents,


Beginning on August 3, 2023, a new automated email will be sent nightly to Massachusetts Independent Agents whenever a MAPFRE policyholder makes the following changes in our customer portal:


  • Updates email address
  • Updates telephone number(s)
  • Updates mailing and/or residential address
  • Enrolls or unenrolls in Auto Pay
  • Enrolls or unenrolls in the Paperless option


This enhancement is designed to make you quickly aware of any of the above account changes made by your customers who have used some of our self-service account features.


Below is an example of an email that will be sent to your primary agency email address from a MAPFRE email address with "MAPFRE Customer Updates" as the subject line:

Each email will contain a spreadsheet that includes the following details:


  • Policyholder's Name - the name of the individual who completed the qualifying transaction.
  • Policy Number - the policy number(s) the change applies to. If multiple policies are affected by the edited information, a line item will be present for each individual policy number.
  • Change Made - details of each qualifying transaction completed by the policyholder.


You can choose to opt-out from receiving these communications via an embedded "Unsubscribe" button. Clicking the "Unsubscribe" button generates a pop-up message. Upon confirmation, you will be automatically removed from this distribution. You can always resubscribe to these daily emails by contacting [email protected].
