A quilt class based on Sudoku incorporates the logic and structure of the popular number puzzle into the design and construction of quilt blocks. Students will learn how to create quilt blocks that mimic the constraints and patterns of Sudoku grids, using fabric colors and patterns instead of numbers. The class teaches techniques for piecing together blocks in a way that ensures each row, column, and smaller grid within the quilt adheres to Sudoku rules, creating a visually interesting and challenging project. It's a fun way to combine the relaxation of quilting with the mental stimulation of Sudoku puzzles. The class emphasizes accurate cutting, piecing, and pressing along with how to keep the blocks organized.
