We love this yarn and think you will too! It's soft, squishy, and hand-dyed in those beautiful colors Manos is known for. We truly think this will be a go-to staple for so many projects.

Marla and Sami are both DK (#3) weight, plied, super wash merino yarns. Each 100 gram skein is approximately 273 yards.

Marla is made from two lightweight strands that are hand-dyed individually then plied to create a beautiful marled effect.

Sami is two lightweight strands that are first plied then hand-dyed to show off those beautiful semi-solid colors Manos is known for.

The two yarns have colors that coordinate beautifully together, or use them on their own!

Choose one of the patterns designed for these yarns or choose your favorite DK gauge pattern and get to know these fabulous yarns!

The Berta Sweater shown here is knit with both Marla and Sami in a fun intarsia checkerboard pattern. With these soft, easy care yarns, this is bound to be one of your favorite pieces!

On our web site we have pages of DK weight patterns in knit and crochet including the "Pulse Warmers" pictured here! These are knit with a single ball of Cashmere Classic from Cardiff. In addition, look at Ravelry for even more pattern ideas.

It's not too early!

It's the end of July and we're thinking of gifts and other fun projects for the holidays!

Let's start with this fun Christmas Stocking. It's knit with 3 skeins of Cardo, a bulky yarn from Manos del Uruguay that's so fabulous to work with. It's a durable yarn that will help insure your piece will be around for many years to come.

Pick your favorite color combinations and make them for yourself, your friends, and family! You can also personalize them even more and embroider names or other decorations using a contrasting, thinner yarn. As we say, express yourself!

Join Us On-Line Thursday Evenings

Every Thursday from 4:30 PM Pacific to 6 PM Pacific, we host "Stitching in your Slippers" on line!

It's a fun group of crocheters and knitters from all across the country. It's the group you don't know you wanted!

We also meet in-person in the shop on Sunday's from 1 -3 PM Pacific!

Baby Blanket Project

This adorable baby blanket is knit with 6 skeins of Berroco Ultra Wool Chunky. The Corey Blanket uses 3 skeins of a main color then one skein each of three other colors to create a blanket that's as bright or as subdued as you'd like!

It's knit on large needles so it goes fast!

For a wool-free alternative, knit it with Berroco Remix Chunky, a yarn made from 100% recycled fibers!

Choose one of our kit colors or put together your own combinations for a blanket that will be around for years!
