DC Order on Eviction Moratorium

On May 5, the U.S. District Court of the District of Columbia ruled that the CDC exceeded its authority last year when it enacted a nationwide eviction moratorium.
This ruling will not impact existing Virginia protections for tenants facing evictions for non-payment of rent or the Virginia Rent Relief Program.
