New Marketplace Provide Law in effect as of January 1
Wisconsin Department of Revenue
The new Marketplace Provider Law (2019 Wisconsin Act 10) that was passed earlier this year took effect on January 1, 2020. It clarifies that a marketplace provider is required to collect and remit Wisconsin sales or use tax on all sales of taxable products and services that the marketplace provider facilitates on behalf of a marketplace seller.

negative profit turn for U.S. hotels in October gave way to robust growth in November as GOPPAR climbed 6.1 percent year-over-year (YOY), the second-highest increase of 2019, according to data from HotStats. While strong in November 2019, year-to-date (YTD) profit growth was somewhat muted-up just 0.3 percent.
